| Bio: | So, I have entered the abyss of LJ on a dark and stormy night in mid-July.... (This is partially lies. YOU figure out which bits are true!) And, having succumbed to the temptations of being able to talk about myself uninterrupted, I seem to have little to say. I like singing but not dancing, and witty people are best. Stupid people are not to be tolerated. Especially those without humour. Yes, I am a pretentious fuck. eeee! I don't know how long I will keep this up, as I am an essentially lazy person. But I have been temporarily inspired, and shall endeavour to persist for at least a bit. But; I digress. About me? Some say I am half girl, half fish. Others say its more of a 70/30 mix. Some say I have a small shop in Soho, where one can find artifacts and relics of the most obscure kind. Others say that is not so. Some say... :) I am incredibly laid back (re: laziness) and cannot be bothered with most things. However, if something involves pretty colours then I will most likely be drawn to it. I like reading pretentious books (like philosophy and stuffy classics) and feeling inferior because I do not understand, but I also like the feeling that those around me THINK that I understand and am therefore very deep. This attitude pretty much sums me up - I'm like a balloon covered in dark chocolate. The balloon is pink. If pink is not available, then yellow is a second choice. I really want to be in a shitty poppy electro band like Deerhoof and sing cutesy songs and dance like a fuck. How cool is that!! Obviously, my only role in the band is dancing like a fuck and singing cutely, even when we're trying to have serious conversations. Actually, I'm technically in such a band, but we are hardly ever in the same room together, and have never ever practised, and the songs which are currently written had none of my help whilst being written. (Probably a good idea by the other band members)... We are called Grand Mastodon Flash. My favourite word is cunt. I am not normal but I appear so. I also like to surprise my close friends with knives. I can be very vivacious but sometimes this gets tiring so I crawl back into my shell like a little crab, sidling; ever sidling. At these times I espouse all company and doodle and play World of Warcraft (the BEST game of all time. Apart from possibly Sonic the Hedgehog) but usually I am quite happy to be dressed up and taken out on the town. I am incredibly slack with relationships and allow them to fall apart easily, not through any dislike of the person involved but sheer laziness - my best friends are either dedicated or as apathetic as me, and we drift by each other every now and then amongst the hubris that is life. consequently, I have many friends but few people are close to me, also on account of me being exceedingly reluctant to talk about feelings/anything personal/pants except when pushed. Hmmm.. what else to say. I get even MORE eloquent when I'm angry!! Reading over this, I sound cocky and annoying and slighty stupid, all probably quite accurate descriptors. I don't care. It's enough to pass for a bio and has used up enough of my valuable 'waiting to get sleepy' time, so I'm not changing a thing. Get to know me!! Form your own impressions!!
